As well as fresh water immediately after treatment, eight glasses of water per day is excellent for healthy functioning cells, improving digestion.

  • Try a slice of lemon in warm water in the mornings too.
  • A light diet for 24 / 48 hours will be beneficial.
  • Avoid all over-refined and processed foods and curries or other spicy foods.
  • Say no to stimulants such as alcohol, tea and coffee.
  • Try a herbal tea, hot lemon or fruit juice.
  • Smoking is unhealthy at the best of times, try to cut down or better give up.

Recognise things that make you feel stressed.approach them differently or seriously consider whether you need to be doing them at all (not an opportunity to shake responsibilities or sweep emotional difficulties under the carpet).
